Bernadette McNabb became a counselor at the Knoxville Center for Reproductive Health within the first few months of the center opening in 1975. In the 1980s she served as the director of the center. Here she describes attending the University of Tennessee in the 1960s, becoming aware of the Women’s movement, and learning about the importance of Reproductive Rights. She also discusses the mission of the Knoxville Center for Reproductive Health, anti-abortion protests, misperceptions about abortion, and current attempts to restrict Reproductive Rights.
